Add bays, expected cars per month, and expected inbound calls per month to see recommended headcount for four shop roles.

How this estimate works(illustrative assumptions)

A planning month uses 20 open days. Advisors cover up to 8 cars or 20 inbound calls per open day, with the larger role count recommended.

Technicians are modeled at 8 sold hours per open day and 3 sold labor hours per car. Bay capacity assumes one technician per bay.

Porters are modeled at 20 cars per open day; managers at 40 cars per open day.

Positive demand rounds up to whole people. A zero workload returns zero staff. These are first-version planning defaults, not verified industry standards.
