Question 1

What daily performance metrics can I review?

Accepted Answer

Daily views can show saved sales, gross profit, car count, sold and available labor hours, and labor utilization. When appointment records and labor-hour estimates are present, scheduled appointment load is also available. A metric that lacks its required saved input remains unavailable; ShopIQ does not fill in missing values.

Question 2

How does ShopIQ help me see profit?

Accepted Answer

ShopIQ organizes recorded daily gross profit and monthly profit-and-loss information so you can review those figures over time. Results depend on the records and expense details available in your account.

Question 3

Can ShopIQ help plan appointment capacity?

Accepted Answer

The appointments board compares scheduled estimated labor hours with available labor hours for a day. It can help you spot when booked work is over modeled capacity so you can plan; it does not create or change appointments automatically.

Question 4

What operational recommendations does ShopIQ provide?

Accepted Answer

The recommendations view compares available signals—including sales pace, average repair order, gross profit, parts margin, technician productivity, and labor capacity—with saved targets or recent baselines when enough history exists. Missing inputs are called out, and recommendations are planning information; they do not take action automatically.
